Pro2014 BIOS Settings

This Doc applies to MQ100/200/300 Pro2014 Series consoles only. 

When the BIOS settings have been lost the console will boot with what appears to be a white screen on the internal display. 

Connect a VGA monitor to the VGA1 (Lower VGA port) on the rear of the console. 

A USB or PS2 keyboard is also required. 

  1. After connecting the VGA monitor and keboard, power on the console. 
  2.  press DELETE on the keyboard to enter the BIOS. 
  3. Once in the BIOS settings go to the 'SAVE & EXIT' menu option

  4. Select 'Restore Defaults'
  5. After selecting Restore Defaults confirm the option to 'Load optimized Defaults'
  6. navigate to Chipset > North Bridge LVDS Config Select 

  7. Select DPO Output Mode (will be disabled by default). 

  8. Change this to Enabled.
  9. Now navigate to Save & Exit, At the top of the page
  10. Select Save Changes and Exit and confirm.
  11. Console will restart with internal display working.  
contact Chamsys Support (support@chamsys.co.uk) for further assisstance. A console regularly dropping its BIOS settings would indicate that the CMOS battery should be replaced.
