Mac install issues - missing effects, fixture files or show files

  • Go to the tools menu and select change files location. Once complete, shutdown and reopen MagicQ. 

If this does not fix the issue:

  •  Please make sure you are logged on as an administrator. Go to the MagicQ folder under applications and press Command and I to get the info window. Unlock this window and select permissions for your account. Make sure it is read and write and then using the cog at the bottom select apply to enclosing folders.
