MagicHD - some notes on conversion and codecs

At the moment MagicHD is using the VP9 codec, and the audio playback works underneath with 25fps video.
We use ffmpeg libraries underneath to the video conversion. This app is bundled in with the MagicQ installer if you need access to it. We use a video codec of libvpx-vp9 and audio of 16 bit PCM and a frame rate of 25fps.
In terms of an application to do video transcoding, then Handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/) [^] is one that I've used before which is multi platform so should work on Mac.

- organising audio files, you should be able to use the same MagicHD folders as you are using for video files to also manage audio files within MagicHD
